Tracks Continuous Improvement Fundamentals Where do you start when building a continuous improvement culture, and once you've taken the first few steps, where do you go from there? The Continuous Improvement Fundamentals track will help you evaluate your operation's strengths and weaknesses, and will offer concrete tactics to move your plant ahead on its continuous improvement journey. Tools & Tactics The Tools & Tactics track is a no-nonsense look at the tools of the continuous improvement trade. It takes the sounds-good theories and makes them specific, measurable and actionable for plant-level initiatives. Advanced Continuous Improvement Maintaining and sustaining operational excellence requires determination and some serious strategic horsepower. Keeping up, getting ahead and making an increasingly measurable difference demands a higher level of continuous improvement tactics than when you first started out. Advanced Continuous Improvement will help keep you on the fast track and give you ideas to keep your operation's engine running. Workforce Development Continuous improvement is a major team effort. If all levels of an operation aren't working together, initiatives are going to sink, and time, money and productivity will be the casualties. The Workforce Development track looks at ways you can bolster individuals in an operation and strengthen the operation as a whole. Value Chain Strategies The conference's Value Chain Strategies provides solid solutions to strengthen strategic plans. The track provides blueprints and tactics to increase productivity, untangle sourcing and reduce supplier waste. Sustainability Initiatives Everyone's going green, but how green are they? The Sustainability Initiatives track looks at what it really means to plan and measure environmental stewardship. These sessions will cut through the philosophies and go straight to real policies that cut waste and reinforce productivity. Continuous Improvement for Process Manufacturers Process manufacturers must overcome unique challenges when implementing continuous improvement initiatives in their operations. This track looks at the distinctive issues process manufacturers face and the specific tools of the trade they need to achieve operational excellence. Conference speakers, topics, and sessions are liable to change at any time. Last Updated October 30, 2008. |
