Tracks The IW Best Plants Conference has been consistent in offering 100% relevant content to its attendees for setting and attaining operational excellence goals. The 2010 conference offers 4 industry specific tracks filled with new topics presented by your peers, other manufacturers. Continuous Improvement 101 Where do you start when building a continuous improvement culture, and once you've taken the first few steps, where do you go from there? The Continuous Improvement 101 track will help you evaluate your operation's strengths and weaknesses, and will offer concrete tactics to move your plant ahead on its continuous improvement journey. Advanced Continuous Improvement Maintaining and sustaining operational excellence requires determination and some serious strategic horsepower. Keeping up, getting ahead and making an increasingly measurable difference demands a higher level of continuous improvement tactics than when you first started out. Advanced Continuous Improvement will help keep you on the fast track and give you ideas to keep your operation's engine running. Workforce Development Continuous improvement is a major team effort. If all levels of an operation aren't working together, initiatives are going to sink, and time, money and productivity will be the casualties. The Workforce Development track looks at ways you can bolster individuals in an operation and strengthen the operation as a whole. Supply Chain Strategies The conference's Supply Chain Strategies track provides solid solutions to strengthen strategic plans. The track provides blueprints and tactics to increase productivity, untangle sourcing and reduce supplier waste. After each session, speakers will be available in the Speakers' Lounge for further discussion and to answer any additional questions you might have. Conference speakers, topics, and sessions are subject to change at any time. Last Updated December 8, 2009. |
