About The Plant

  • The plant produces workholding, lifting and fixturing products which are sold throughout the world.
  • The end user customer base covers all aspects of manufacturing to include aerospace, transportation, energy, medical and entertainment. Wherever products are held or located you will find a Jergens product. This facility produces hundreds of different items that are sold through a channel of distributors in North America, Europe, Japan and Jergens' owned facilities in China and India.
  • Total number of employees is about 300.
  • This facility is over 110,000 Square feet.
  • Jergens has won awards for Export achievement from the state of Ohio, The American Eagle award from the Industrial Supply Association and numerous environmental awards for the reclaiming of an abandoned Brownfield site and building our corporate headquarters/factory.
What You Will See on the Tour

The tour will cover the latest in applied industrial improvements relating directly to production improvements. The guests will see firsthand how to reduce actual set up time from hours to minutes. They will see the use of technology on the factory floor for cutting tool replacement using the internet/ monitoring and they will see on floor training/education using on line tools. Employees receive direct job related training and education via on line internet training.

  • No open toe shoes permitted in the facility
  • Safety glasses with side shields will be provided.
  • Cameras and all recording devices strictly prohibited
  • Plant tour dates and times are subject to change
  • PRECLUSION STATEMENT: IW may be required to preclude attendees from taking part in certain plant tours. This step will be taken solely by IW at the request of our host plant based upon the proprietary nature of information that is to be presented. The host plants' decisions are final and will be communicated to attendees in advance. Some participants on the tour may be asked to complete a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
