About The Plant

Regal Ware is a closely-held private company, and has been manufacturing continually in southeastern Wisconsin since its founding in 1945. Today Regal Ware employs roughly 500 people in its half-million square foot manufacturing facility in West Bend, and its corporate office building located in Kewaskum, Wisconsin. Regal Ware is the premier U.S. manufacturer of high-quality stainless steel cookware for the Direct Sales Market. In addition, the company manufacturers commercial-grade coffee urns and in-home drinking water purification systems. Regal Ware recently re-entered the high-end retail cookware market following a 5-year hiatus in this arena. Regal Ware products can be found throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia and Europe.

In 2006 Regal Ware received the Environmental Stewardship Award in recognition of their energy-efficient lighting project in the manufacturing facility. The implementation of this project was expected to take enough power off the electrical grid to power the equivalent of 219 homes according to the EPA formula. The environmental impact over the lifetime of the fixtures will decrease air pollution and environmental damage by 22,620 tons of carbon dioxide, 6,169 tons of carbon, 83 tons of sulfur dioxide, 193 tons of nitrous oxides, and 3 pounds of mercury. This is the equivalent of saving 2.74 million gallons of gas, planting 5,534 acres of trees.

Continuous Improvement in Action

Guests will view the manufacturing process of high-quality cookware designed specifically for the Direct Sales Market. Continuous improvement methods will be evidenced throughout the tour, including cellular manufacturing, adherence to TAKT time and other metrics, and pack-to-order demonstrations.
